Dresden & Saxon Switzerland Mountains NP
The Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the east of Germany have always attracted me, as they are exciting to me historically. So, I decided to visit the region for three days without further ado.
The visit to Dresden was more than enriching because of the history and the beautiful buildings, especially the churches.
The hiking and running in the mountains of Saxon Switzerland were very varied. With cloudy weather and light snowfall, I spent 1.5 days in the region and was fascinated by the diversity and bizarre rock formations. It was like a mixture of several US national parks (Bryce Canyon, Arches, Monument Valley, and Joshua Tree) in a winter landscape. You can see the contrast on my YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/@lukasstahli/featured
I definitely recommend visiting and immersing yourself in the region. Enjoy!
